And now: Hundreds. After terrific performances in 2009, 2012 and 2014 Eva and Philipp visit us again at the Immergut. It's high time! So 2021 Hundreds for the fourth time, with the current fourth studio album The Current. That fits very well: four gigs and four albums, Hundreds and the Immergut hand in hand. And in terms of content, we actually fit together quite well: the festival gives us all time and space to take a step back, slow down a bit and enjoy small and big moments. This is also what the song Body of Water by Hundreds is about:
Early morning by the water, my reflection, there's no other.
Time to think and reflect and a place to let fresh air blow around your nose, both are always and everywhere good to use. And you don't have to be lonely at the same time:
Whenever I think I'm falling apart I know they're waiting for me.
Maybe Hundreds are not only singing about the sea, but also about the Immergut Festival? About a place where everything goes a little slower and yet you never have to be alone. About a few beautiful days in the Mecklenburg Lake District, where you can find time for your own reflections in the water. Even if the breeze in Neustrelitz may not be quite as strong as on the Baltic coast, there is certainly no lack of fresh air. And that great people and the most beautiful music are waiting at every corner, all friends of the Immergut Festival can convince themselves of that every year. Some may even be able to sing a song about it, with dreamy voices to piano and electronic rhythms, late at night on our Waldbühne. We are looking forward: to Hundreds.
Das Immergut Festival 2021 ist genehmigt und findet, wie geplant, vom 26. bis 28. August zu besten Wetterprognosen statt! Hier findet ihr unseren Hygiene-Leitfaden.
