Short stories are like icebergs – only the tip can be seen above the water surface. Everything else stays hidden, is not mentioned. In short stories not the things said but the story told is important. That’s what the grand master refers to. Who knows what Francesco Wilking beats about the bush? We got to know lots of his stories in the past 10 years – songs arranged in 3 LPs. We dreamed with Tele, celebrated and choked some tears. We were thinking which person should come along in our dream at night and who the hell this Cecil also known as Sissi is. We were never sure what Francesco Wilking was going to tell us.
